Within the fictional world of my stories, these songs are written by my character Taralyn, or Dusk as she sometimes calls herself. A normal albeit fanciful girl, she begins having dreams about a cursed prince who bears a strange resemblance to her new friend Lorcan. As she explores his world, she encounters vampires, fae folk, and the gods who guide Taralyn on her path as a new witch.

Since I tagged this LGBT, let me come out on my characters' behalf. Just like me, most of my characters are queer in one way or another. Taralyn personally identifies as bisexual and polyamorous. Over the course of the story, she falls in love with both Lorcan and one of her (female) fellow witches, and she often expresses her devotion to her gods as romantic love.
